Pulitzer Prize Winning Photographer



Dan Loh is a Pulitzer Prize Winning Documentary Photographer based in the Greater New York City area and is available for photojournalism, documentary, art, corporate, public relations, events, gala, annual reports, portraiture, education teaching assignments.

DAN LOH (b. New York, USA) is a former Associated Press staff photographer and recipient of a Pulitzer Prize for a photo of White House intern Monica Lewinsky and her attorney William Ginsberg. His prize-winning photo can be viewed at the Newseum in Washington D.C., and is published in Moments: The Pulitzer Prize Winning Photographs and Capture the Moment: The Pulitzer Prize Photographs. As an AP staff photographer, Dan was assigned to domestic U.S. AP bureaus in Pennsylvania (based in Philadelphia), Mississippi and Louisiana (based in Jackson, MS), Massachusetts and Rhode Island (based in Boston), and Missouri and Kansas (based in Kansas City, MO). In addition to President Clinton's impeachment, Dan also contributed to AP's photographic coverage of the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center in New York, as well as the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, World Series, Stanley Cup, U.S. Presidential Campaigns, Republican and Democratic National Conventions, Presidential Inaugurations, Meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations, and World Youth Day.  Dan was a selected participant to The Eddie Adams Workshop and was also a mentor photographer at The Associated Press Diverse Visions Workshop.  Dan is listed among Notable Alumni of Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY, graduating with a BFA in Photography, and later received his MFA in Photography from New Jersey City University, in Jersey City, NJ.  A portfolio of his other work can be viewed HERE.  Dan is currently a photographer and college educator in the Greater New York City Metropolitan Area.
